Private titles, searchable sections and a tidier Friends tab
Build 59 · October 25, 2026
Your lineup
- Each section (Catch Up, Recently Released, Tracked Titles) has its own search button next to its sort controls.
- My Library's TV and Movie sections can be searched and sorted by title, year or when you added them.
- A friend's lineup has the same search button.
Show details
- Seasons & episodes now sits right under the description.
- Private: keep a show to yourself so friends neither see it in your lineup nor hear about it from you. Turn it on below your watch progress, or before you follow a new title. Long-press a row for Make Private.
Friends and messages
- Messaging and Friends can be hidden and shown, and long lists show the first five with Show all.
- Start a message with the + next to Messaging and pick a friend by name.
- Swipe a conversation left to dismiss it until the next message; quiet conversations drop off after 14 days.
- Friends read "Joseph's lineup", with a message button and a muted icon when you have muted them.
Streaming services
- Hulu through Disney+ now counts as Hulu, so those shows no longer show $$.
- The service timeline includes weekly episodes, not just premieres and finales.
- Add-ons you have stay visible under their service in My Services.
- Clearer wording about what the icons mean, and "cost" instead of "price".
Release notes
- After each update ShowHound shows what changed, once. Settings → About → Release notes lists every build, also at showhound.app/releases.
Fixes
- The keyboard no longer covers the field you are typing in, including a service's cost.
- The block confirmation explains that blocking is silent.
